Hey Mike, Your temp is a pretty good indicator of a UTI.
I usually have a continual urge to void, as well as a something
just ain't right feeling in my abdominal region. Best of luck, and hope it's a UTI at worst. Jim

Got home from the airport and my temp was 101. Dr suggests coming to see him or going to my PCP for urine tests and antibiotics. Took tylenol last night to get the temp down a bit and it's only 99.9 this morning.

Pat,

It wasn't really my stomach burning. It feels like the inside of my abdomen. It's kind of hard to explain. It feels like the area that makes me feel like my neobladder is full. I get that feeling in a good sized area of my abdomen.

I think it's not the food this far from getting back from Mexico (Saturday). A light did go off in my head about Mexico. Had my catheter in a zip-lock in my pocket while body surfing. Bag got lots of seawater and I just cathed anyway. Maybe will just wait and see if it goes away.

Not indigestion. Different feeling. Had food poisoning before also and it's not that.

Thanks!

Mike,
I might associate the burning problems..stomach and otherwise with your vacation in Mexico.....???? Ya think?

OK. My turn to ASK a question...

For the past few days I've been having a burning feeling in my abdomen. I've also been feeling more full (neobladder) more often. After I cath (which I have to do every single time I urinate) it seems to be slight relief but it still "feels" like there is fullness. I've also been feeling a bit odd the past few days. Not flu-like but just "off".

The burning feeling in the pelvic and stomach area is mild and varies a bit in how much I notice it throughout the day.

Sitting in the airport in Phoenix right now and I sent an email to my surgeon to see if he thinks it is anything to worry about or if I should consider it a UTI and head to urgent care when I get home.

However, if others have had these symptoms and can offer some info/guidance, I am eternally grateful. :)

Thanks!
Mike

PS: SOrry I haven't been around lately. EXTREMELY busy at work and I was completely off the grid when I went on vacation a last week in Cancun.
