I moved your post to make an individual thread as I think you will get more response this way.  I hope it's okay.  You didn't do anything wrong, I'm just trying to help you get some answers.

If your Mom had the tumor removed yesterday, do the Doctors already know the stage and grade?
Do they have the biopsy results to show that it is muscle invasive?  It would be helpful for us to know these things.

I personally use a lot of homeopathic types of treatments on myself.  However, my cancer is of an intermediate nature and is not muscle invasive.  There is a big difference in approach according to the stage and grade and whether the cancer has metastisized.

Anyway, lots of hugs and hugs to you.  You are doing the best you can for your Mom by trying to find some answers.

Warm regards
Rosemary

Hi Everyone,

Im looking for some peace of mind, encouragement and anything else that can be offered, even a hug .  My Mom was diagnosed a few weeks ago with bladder cancer and went in yesterday to have the tumor removed.  After the surgery the doctor showed us the size of the tumour which was quite large and that he couldnt get all of it out.  the upper right side of the bladder still had some of teh tumour and he feared scraping further since he felt it was all contained within the bladder.  His recommendation is to have the bladder removed and mom will have an ostomy bag.  She was in good spirits yesterday and has accepted the ostomy bag since my dad had diverticulitis last year and was rushed in to teh hospital. She had to care for him while he had his colostomy bag but that has since been reversed.

Does teh cancer reoccur when teh bladder is removed?  I have read in sevearl places that  with teh bladder out and if it did not spread it does not come back, but is there the worry about it coming back somewhere else.

Another question that I dont know if I can get any advice on. I understand doctors do not support homeopathic medicine but i have read up on a lot of it and it seems tha there are positive results but will not be supported by regular doctors because not enough research is done on it and bceause it usually is a cheap alternative that doctors dont make money off of.

She had UTI for several years and was always treated by the doctor sasying here try this to see fi this works, or try this.  It seems as if its all a guessing game and if they did the proper tests, she could have been diagnosed much earlier.

Is there a hospital/homeopathis doctor anything.. that is better than another for this?  I would cash everything i have to take her to the best place.

Again, thank you for listening. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
