And, Anita, fierce is the exact word to describe that weather. Very scary with rain pooling and running across the interstate and some of the brightest bolts of lightening I have ever seen. Fortunately the rain was pounding the SUV so hard that my dogs could barely hear the crashes of thunder. One of them is terrified of storms and he only reacted a couple of times.
We were happy campers to pull into the safety and dryness of our own garage! I hope you were watching it from home and not out in it.
