Welcome Home!!!!

Wow! That was a long haul in the hosp. The world does seem a little brighter when you are home. I hope the new digs will bring out good spirits.

Loved those milkshakes! My wife firmly believes in the Chocolate recovery method!

Welcome home........people are sick in hospitals anyway..who wants to be there!
a little trick to the Ensure...get a pint of his favorite icecream, mix it in a blender with a little half and half, and you've got about 3000 calories and its tastes great and puts on some weight.
Some of the meds give a metalic taste in the mouth...that will go away and i found that chocolate definately can conquer that taste...seriously.
Feed him a banana a day. If you have to make it a banana split so be it.
small meals...pasta with cheeze sauce,,,,,,try eggs any style to keep the protein up. And if he likes peanut butter at all it tastes great on crackers and is more protein.
you must be sneaky!!!

Oh, I forgot the best part: There is absolutely, definitely no cancer left. It was completely confined to the bladder and prostate. Both scans and pathology confirm that no cancer is anyplace else.

:) :woohoo: That is such wonderful news! There is nothing like walking through your own door to tap into that reserve of inner strength. Tell George I am so happy he is home and am very impressed with his efforts today. It will only continue to improve as he is now sleeping in his own bed surrounded by the comforts of home.

I wish you continued renewal and strength as your recovery progresses.

Best wishes... Catherine
