Just got my fax copy of my CT scan (chest, abdomen, pelvis).
I always have the results faxed to me so I know asap and don't have to wait for the doctor to see it first.

No sign of mets or anything else to worry about. They find little odds and ends that are unrelated to the bladder cancer, but those are all on past scans with no changes.

This will make me two years cancer free!

Since I had CIS and it became invasive, I'm fairly confident that this two years mark is a good sign for me. Since CIS (without concommitant tumor) is highly aggressive and since I got my cystectomy pretty much right when it had barely penetrated to the muscle, I'm feeling good about it.

I do know that it doesn't mean I'm completely out of the woods forever and that I still require regular follow up but since it was so agressive and nothing has appeared yet...

So this coming Friday will be my official two years cancer free! :woohoo: :silly:

My wife wanted to celebrate last week when I got home from my business trip, but I didn't want jinx it by celebrating prior to my CT results. Silly little superstition but hey...that's just the way it is. :)

Now, I'm cool with celebrating and we're going out for a nice dinner this evening. :woohoo: :silly:
