I have seen messages that wondered what a stoma located at the navel would be like with an Indiana Pouch. I know that I would have liked to have seen one before I had the surgery. I am going to share a picture of what I have. Remember it has been about 15 years since I had my cystectomy. What you will see is my navel, and that is where I use the catheter. A little droopy, but no more than to be expected for someone who is now topping the hill and getting ready to walk over the otherside with or without the stoma. Fot a little humor, my husband says it is nice to not have to remember to put the seat down in the bathroom!
