Well i'll tell ya Hox...better to plant the seed before the surgery.......Its a legit question and one she or he should be informed of. Just ask Holly, Webs, Jack, and few hundred others if they weren't glad the seed was planted or in Webs case she didn't ask until it was done.
I mean no harm and if he's done 70 cystectomys this year he will definately go on my list of "go to's".
Cynthia ...do not call the cops on me!!

Mary... Keep positive and help your husband to do the same... M

My "mantra" before every surgery is to ask my body and mind to accept the procedure as a gift, something to be welcomed and to ask it to cooperate fully and, once the procedure is completed to accelerate the process of perfect healing as if a second were a minute, a minute an hour, an hour a day, a day a week and a week like a month...requiring me only to experience the minimum of discomfort required for me to know the process is underway.

Geez Pat... good intentions I am sure but the surgery date is March 2... not a good time to plant even the slightest seed of doubt about the surgeon or anything else... Hox

Mary..i just wonder how many bladder cancer patients Dr. Lowe has seen and done surgery on? Do you know?
Dr. Lowe is a leader in robotic and cryosurgery for treating prostate cancer and has the largest laparoscopic robotic experience in the northwest but he is in private practice now so i wonder about bladder surgery as his main expertise is prostate.
I know a lot more about the doctors at OHSU in Portland. Please enlighten me.
