Thanks. NG tube out yesterday (FINALLY). I wanted to be ABSOLUTELY sure it didn't need reinsertion once it was removed.

Limitted clear liquid diet yesterday and so far today. That is all the clear liquid I want as long it is less than 250 ml every eight hours.

This mornings lab was just the CRP and it's come down significantly as well so whatever infection seems to be gone. IV was capped this morning so I am off in the visitors lounge to use the PC to get my email up to date a bit.

Thanks to all for the thoughts, prayers, and wishes. I sure didn't think this was going to take so long!!!

It's clear that I will NOT be skiing in January. My scuba trip in February may change to a lay on the beach and float on the ocean trip depending. We shall see....

Mike, It is good to hear from you. Sorry to know that you are still in hospital, but I am glad that things are coming along well.
I am sure you will recover fully and stop eating those lima beans. I always tell my wife that a lima bean is simply a sand filled vegatable. Now I have even more reasons NOT to eat them.

Get well Mike, We miss you.

Infection gone now. Suction for one hour then clamped for 6 hrs. That's been the routine all day. Maybe liquid tomorrow.

Yes, it IS good to hear from you, Mike. We have missed you.
A LIMA BEAN? That is what comes from eating vegetables. Should stick with chocolate!!

Hope that you feel a lot better after this is over.
