Mike,
Just wanted to wish you a happy Thanksgiving and I hope you are up to a good meal today (even if it is hospital food).

That's good to know Lee.
I am familiar with Dilaudid. They gave it to me IV when I was in the hospital for an intestinal blockage. Good stuff but I'm hoping to stay off the opiods.

I had an epidural for my RC and it worked very well. Had no pain or effect of being medicated at all until a cartridge ran out and they didn't get a refill in time. However they gave me a shot of something called "delaudit" (sic) which proved to me that interdimensional travel is possible  :) (wow, I'd pay for that stuff.)

Only way to compete with Rudy is to cartwheel out the door.

Thanks to ALL!

The video was hilarious SailorMan! Then I started watching a bunch of other Weird Al videos.

In order to compete with Rudy, I think I'd have to have surgery at my house! :D

Going to see about epidural+general for the surgery and an epidural post-op instead of morphine because I really, really, really do not want to have another ileus like I did when I had my RC. I like the idea of not having opiods if I can avoid them.

I especially like
I may not be having turkey this year for Thanksgiving but I will be very thankful to put these hernias and intestinal blockages behind me! :woohoo:
