Hope things work out well for your son. Not sure how they do it these days but 35 years ago when I got mine out I was in hospital for a few days.

Maybe they do those laprascopically now.

9/19/08 TURB/TUIP dx Invasive T2G3
10/8/08 RC neobladder(at 49)
2/15/13 T4G3N3M1 distant metastases(at 53)
9/2013 finished chemo -cancer free again
1/2014 ct scan results....distant mets
2/2014 ct result...spread to liver, kidneys, and lymph...

Have new date for CT - problems over or so I thought! Currently sitting in ED with youngest son. His appendix no longer wishes to be part of him. I think it will be a long long night! And of course it falls on the one night of the week when Hubby is at the other end of the country! C'est la vie as they say!!

I think I would have stopped at the Hosp admin first to blast the hell out of them. That is really some nerve. There are plenty of places you can take your CT business to.

Thank you for your kind thoughts. Please carry on keeping everything crossed as I did not have it in the end. Managed the contrast but had to leave as they were running very very late and I had to be somewhere else. Will ring them again tomorrow to reschedule.
