Chicago Rush was the first to do this and i think probably most top hospitals probably do it........gee you really wanted to think about this didn't you?

PIECE OF CAKE!!! Although my uro said the hip surgery should be worse than the cancer surgery.......yeah right! If I can get through the Neo surgery, I can surely get through a NORMAL hip replacment!!!

Thanks Pat,and Mike, the B12 info was great. The First thing they asked me about was the B12 test and why the test was not done by the lab. They didn't do it( I guess they forgot) The uro did it during my visit and found it to be fine for now.
I am still cancer free!!!!!! Yaaaaahhhhhoooooo! But it has been 6 months since my last visit and they felt that was a little too long, a little too soon.

Thanks for all the support, and I am looking forward to everyone getting a clean bill of health this year. In fact, I am praying for all of us.

Next up ...A new hip replacment on 09/09/09 What a year it has been!! My cancer surgery was 08/08/08. I do not want to continue next year!!

George,

I thought of one more. You might want to ask him about checking your B12 levels. I think some urologists do that at the one year mark and others do it around 18 months to 2 years.
