Pat,
pleased to hear you have come through your procedure with your sense of humour intact!!(Even if your dignity is temporarily dented!!)Am also sorry you met up with Nurse Mildred Ratched, but bless her - what would the needle manufacturers do with all the blunt ones they make if not for nurses like her ?
Hope you are recovering now and that the docs come up with some solution for you.
All the best, Diane

Hello Pat,

Glad it is all over for you and that you are home and resting. Thanks for your humor that shines through on your posts, love it. A great way to get through an unpleasant procedure.

Oh Pat I'm so sorry Nurse Mildred Ratched is an ex wife of mine. Now you know why we are no longer together.

Glad you are home and the gas should be gone when you wake up.

You did it, Pat. I see you have retained your sense of humor even if you are in acute pain from gas.
By 5 o'clock my time people were wondering how you were doing. I thought perhaps you were still groggy from the anesthesia. Sounds like it made you pretty sleepy.

I wonder what people are supposed to do with scaring like you have. I guess it is a fairly common occurrence. I was told the intestines don't like to be handled and have ways of letting us know when they have been insulted.

Take care, Julie
