Anne, Dick was very thankful for his port. It was so much better than having incompetent people trying to put an IV in.
We'll be here for you Anne. Julie

Hey Sister;) we are here for you. Chemo sucks:ohmy: there is no getting around that, but it is not as bad as you fear it will be. Just remember that everyone's system is different. Find what works for you and go with it. Remember to let your family pamper you.:P

Hello Anne,

I just finished my chemo a few weeks ago. What I noticed was that the medicine they gave me for the nausea was sometimes worse then the nausea. You will need to be sure to communicate your reactions to the drugs so they can adjust them. It got much better for me as they learned to adjust the doses.

I wish you a Merry Christmas and new found health in the new year.

Best,
Gracie

Anne,

We are a family here and you are very much a part of that. We are here for you when you need us never forget that. I did half my chemo with out a port and half with and would get one in from the gitgo if I have to do it again. Good luck and know healing thoughts are being sent your way.
