My Dad had his RC in April of 2007 and has been coughing off and on ever since. They diagnosed it as GERD and put him on Nexium and also put him on s nasal spray just in case it was asthma (he's never had asthma ever!) Right now he says he feels like he is coming down with the flu and the cough really hurts his chest. And, yes, he had both the flu shot and pneumonia shot.
So, bottom line, they can't figure out what has caused the cough. Please let me know if they find the cause for your cough.
