When I was talking to the Oncologist yesterday, she said something that made me pause. She said that there had been no definitive studies on whether or not adjuvent chemotherapy was beneficial in BC after RC.
Plain English They do chemo after an RC with lymph node involvement because they hope it will reduce reoccurance like other cancer. She went on to say that no doctor wants to bet their career on spending 20 years trying to collect data from widely sepperated patients.
Just drove home how much BC is shoved to the back.
