Hi Maria - I too am so sorry to hear your news...but I know your oncologist will help you determine the best course of action and you can go forward from there. I know it is difficult at the moment...the unknown and the wait time between discussions with doctors is so difficult. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers daily, that your medical team will be guided by the Lord and that you will receive strength comfort from Him daily.
Love and prayers, Margot and Harry

Dear Maria,

I am so sorry that your pathology results were not more positive.

When you make some sense out of this news please come back and update us on the plan forward.

Do you know how many nodes they took during RC and how many of them were positive?

They may have taken all the positive nodes out already....

You are not alone Maria....I am routing for you.

Maria,

I sure wish I could make the lymph node involvement go away just by wishing. The shock of such news makes it real tough to find steady ground - like massive aftershocks from the "getting diagnosed" earthquake. How many nodes were out and how many positive? What are they proposing for treatment? When I got my path report after RC and they told me it was a T3 - thru the bladder wall - I was devastated as well.

Adjusting to our reality is not a simple thing - I have days where I feel defeated, other days I certain I can win this war. By far the hardest part of facing it all is when we think of our loved ones. You are not alone, Maria.

I will keep watching for your posts - wherever you may post them. Personally I agonized over where to post when my status changed. I felt like a fraud posting in the invasive section all because I was afraid of seeing my own post in the metastatic section. And I am only an email away should I be able to help.

((((Maria))))) my thoughts and prayers are with you, God Bless, Holly

I don't know how I missed the post that you were home and back online. I'm sorry that your BC has gone into the lymph nodes. Hearing news like that unprepared is a shock. I hope the oncologists plans make sense to you and will work. Take a few deep breaths focus on healing from the surgery.
I know from nothing about lymph node involvement as that wasn't the course Dick's BC took. I am praying for you. Julie
