I can not say that it "All" comes gushing out, but I too experienced a period when it seemed as if I could not hold my urine. Like yourself, it ws getting up from a sitting position. I found two things that helped.
#1 - Before I get up, I squeeze to hold in and while getting up, I sort of roll to one side rather than standing straight up.
#2 - Make sure I go on schedule. I'm sure you've learned that voiding is now a timing rather than urgency thing. I found myself waiting too long and was full when I got up to go. Now I do my best to go every two hours.
In any case, consult your doctor. If you don't get the answers you need, try for another opinion. Second opinions are not just for treatment options... this is important too!

Well, how discouraging and frustrating for you. There are several women on Webcafe's email List who have neobladders - who may have suggestions for you. How 'bout posting your question to the List as well as here in the Forum. Not all List members read the Forum on a daily basis.
Your problem sounds as if only your doctor can answer. I am a man and only about two months out, so I don’t know if that makes a difference. I find that when my neo bladder is full and I bend over to get up I leak just a tiny bit. After four months I would imagine your bladder has had time to stretch enough to hold a fairly good amount. I don’t have an answer for you only support. I would get with your doctor and find out the problem. I hope you find the answer to your problem soon and things get better for you.
Best wishes Steve
