growing new bladder

There definitely is hope--but realistically, someone who needs their bladder cancer attended to now should probably not wait until growing a new bladder in the lab is a viable option.

Has your urologist told you something different?

There is a decided difference between looking at options negatively and looking at them realistically. Negatively is saying "that will never happen." Realistic is saying "it may well happen, but right now it's not an option."

I sincerely hope growing bladders in a lab pans out. In the same vein, I'm glad I had my surgery and didn't wait for a lab-grown bladder.

Sad to say, but in our lifetimes we might as well google "flying car".

Both are in the pipeline, but unfortunately, at this point in time, they are equally unrealistic options.
