Hello Rick,

I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. I had my R/C on 11/14/07, which was performed by Dr. Farsid Sadeghi of the Urology Associates, LTD group that is highly regarded in the Southwest. Phone is 480-661-2662 with offices at 10117 North 92nd Street, Suite 103, Scottsdale, Az 85258. Dr. Sadeghi is great, the first thing he said to me was "We are going to take great care oare of you". I have not been disappointed. He has a great personality and acts as if you are his only patient that day. Takes his time and answers all questons. My operation went off without any problems and I am doing well. I thought I had a bowell obstruction, but it turned out to be stomach bacteria. I would be surprised if you can't find someone good in Vegas, but if not, give my doctor a call. Good luck to your Dad.

Regards,

Peter Konomos

Hi Rick...I guess for an initial evaluation the local uros would be ok..but i would consider the 4 hr drive to USC/Norris is Los Angeles should further work ups be necessary. They really specialize in blc...Dr. Skinner...either one....(there are 2 Skinners)

Thanks Grandpadonut and Ginger.

I will give my parents the phone number and doctor names.

This old version of the Web Cafe, I have down pat. I hope the new one is just as easy.

Rick,
I checked out this urology group in Vegas when Grandpa donut said he was going there. It seems its a highly staffed Urology group and meet all the recommendations. But they are the only ones I found in Vegas.. If he wants to drive to Scottsdale Peter K had a good experience there, he has the bag as well and recovery was good for him thanks to his surgeon.. I will get the info from Peter K and the Scottsdale group.... Ginger

Friends,
My parents live in Las Vegas.
I got a call from my mom about an hour ago and she told me that my dad (77 yrs old) has had coffee brown urine for two days.
Those are the same signs I had prior to going to the doctor. I never had "Red" in my urine for the six months I had dark brown urine.

My parents have great insurance, but do not know any Urologist in Las Vegas.
They could go through their GP, but asked me what I would do.
I told them I would go straight to an urologist and show them my "Rick Report" (my journal of my journey from first doctor visit until now, including lab reports and pathology reports)

Can anyone provide a name of a Urologist that they recommend in the Las Vegas area?

Of course with my history, they would like to go to the doctor today.

Thanks
Rick
