Nerve sparing? Injection? Pump? Pills?Whats the answer

My wife and I went for our appointment with the specialist at the Cleveland Clinic on the subject of how to regain sexual function after an R/C. The appointment was very enlightenoing for us both. After looking at my records he informed me I probably would never have any luck on my own with the surgery I had. Although nerve sparing was done the amount of involvement in all areas does not mean that it always works. That was sad to both of us. We discussed the shot, the pill and the pump..We have not decided on which is going to be what we choose but somehow it all comes back to me that this surgery has no guarantees in this area. The degree of preformance is as individual as ones make-up and how much had to be done in ones particular scenario. One thing is for sure, it will never be the same, the effort to try new things is up to each individual , but still its another effect of an r/c.
Nerve sparing works for some, but not all. Unless a miracle awaits we will try one of the options, remembering we have our life, and maybe the hugs are more important
than once thought, and maybe exepting what is isn't so bad!!!! Gene
