3 month check up all seems clear

Well done Lisa. You seem to be doing really well. I'm about 6 weeks behind you...had my RC on Jan 21st...so I'm following your progress with interest. I had my chemo before the op and hated it but as you say it's worth it if it increases the chances of beating the cancer. I was in hospital a lot longer than you...over three weeks...partly because I got a urine infection on the day I was due to be discharged, so they kept me in a few days longer. And I still have the stoma and supra pubic catheters in place...with no date yet for their removal. Can't wait to get rid of them. I enjoy walking and the rubbing of the SPC limits me to about a mile at the moment...a bit less than the 26 mile marathon I walked the month before I was diagnosed!
Anyway, I hope it continues to go well for you. Best wishes...Alan

Hi Lisa - Glad to hear the appointment went well. How are you doing now withthe chemo? I know it is not an easy road, Harry finished his last treatment this past Tuesday. He is so glad for it to be done. He isn't "fully recovered" from the effects, still has a queazy stomach-in the evenings especially, but with time I'm sure he will be feeling better. Anyway, I'm glad your apppointment went well and wish you well through the rest of your chemo. Margot and Harry
