A call from Marie-all is well following RC

Maria and Joe,

She chose the external pouch and seems happy that it is working well. I have told her walk walk walk so often I am suprised she doesn't hang up on me at this point. She was dizzy when she got up the first time and they found she needed another unit of blood makeing two she had one during surgery. She is doing better now and I am sure she is walking more. I will give her a call tomorrow and update you then. I will let her know that you guys sent her two thumbs up.

Hello gang,

I just received a call from our Marie, talk about a wonderful surprise. She asked that I post and let all of her buddies here know she was doing well. She is two days out of surgery is not in great pain and is up walking. She had to have two transfusions but other than that no complications. Knowing her I am sure that it will not be long before she is posting again herself. I will talk to her in a few days and will post an update.
