I vote for Athena if you must have a new name...tho I agree, dear Holly, that you already are strong and quite the warrior. Also agree that you should push to have those scans done as early as possible.

Don't fret so much, however, about your mental condition...I'm right there with you. Some days I feel like I am in a fog and don't know how to find my way out of it. I was planning my return to work and my spouse reminds me that I'm not ready yet. He is very attentive to detail and he says I am just not right yet...whatever that means. Today I contacted a social worker and she is going to try to get me into some type of rehab. for chemo patients...maybe some type of therapy can help me with the mental disconnects I have going on. If I find it to be useful, I will share the details with you.

Hi All

I indeed had a B12 shot at 2;30 this afternoon. I didn't even cry! My hubby went with to make sure I did not chicken out lol
In todays mail I had a packet from Mayo's that the bone scan etc is scheduled for the week of Valentines. Monday I will get it changed to sooner as I am extremely uncomfy in waiting that long. This cancer has been like a freight train from the get go and I will not waste precious time if I don't have to. Thanks for the input, I needed to know I am not psychotic.
As far as a warrior name.....Yes, I agree I have been a warrior named Holly, and that I have been fierce at the fight. I do like Athena, yet I do like Bathilda, too. Still not decided yet, but my therapist thinks it would really be helpful I do this
It is very hard to understand my stage is changing and what it really means. In my own way I am coming to terms with it. Again I find myself struggling with reality, and I truly appreciate the space here to do that. Without this forum I would have not made it this far.
I look forward to hearing from your friend Cynthia. With great trepidation I venture on the net for pertinent info, hoping to avoid all that scares and freaks me out.

I can't offer you much in terms of concrete info but I want to say you are in my thoughts and prayers...you are so helpful on this forum (I don't post too much but read it alot)...you are so strong and you will continue to be.
