I agree that your warrior name sounds perfect. You have been so helpful in your posts and I want you to know that I will be a prayer warrior for you too. God has blessed you already with your kind heart and gentle spirit that is felt in all your posts. Although we are now living in California, Harry was born and raised on the Iron Range of Northern Minnesota...and he'll never live in a snowy location again! God bless you and know you are in my prayers. Margot

Ann Athena,

I like your new name. And for the record, I think that you probably have the sweetest courage that I have ever seen.

I am praying for you too. And, I hope you will stay right here where you are comfortable.

Hello Everyone :)

Thank you all for the wonderful input in finding my warrior name. After much deliberating I have finally decided on WARRIOR ANN ATHENA...
My Gramma was named Ann and she battled cancers when I was a young girl. She was dx'd back in the 1960's when treatments were barbaric, she fought 10 years. My middle name is Ann, also. She was a determined German woman who greatly influenced me in the short time we had. So in honor of her and her fight, and in her spirit, I am claiming the name Warrior Ann Athena. ( I want Athena too - talk about a formidable female!)
I am doing ok today, although I get anxious about the mail. I know the next pack from Mayo's - the final reports etc from the check up - will likely have my changed status. As long as no one is bothered, I would like to keep posting in the invasive section for a while as I am not ready for the "m" word yet.
Just out of curiosity - is anyone here from Illinois, Wisconsin or Minnesota?
I want to thank you all for your kind words, and prayers. When I see the sweet words and references to stregnth it is hard to believe you are reffering to me! Just for the record - I am 1/2 chicken - I sprout feathers before every medical procedure! I do pray alot though ! God Bless, Holly

Holly,
Glad your holidays were wonderful for you. Getting thru the holidays is sometimes a challenge when one has issues as you do. Being the warrior you are you managed to conquer them with enjoyment!!! I am going out on a limb and suggest a possible name, Venus,,,surrounded by stars,, a planet of its own, you are in our prayers, hope for some good news and that your feeling better..Ginger

holly - i like "maia" - brave warrior. because you have been so brave. your attitude is amazing given what you have and are still going through. i admire you so much. only a real trooper could still find things to be thankful for in the face of what is going on with your health. i also vote for more retail therapy. lol!
