Stage 11 bladder cancer Peter K, surgery over

Thanks for the update Ginger. Its good to know that Peter is making a good and steady recovery so soon after his surgery. How very kind of you to offer your support to Pat. The more I read this forum, it is more obvious, What a great group of genuine and sincere people participate and offer helpful advice and support to others.

I am so happy for you that your surgery went well and you are in recovery. I will keep you in my thoughts for a good path report. My surgery is tomorrow, and I hope to have as good as an outcome as you.

I have been asked to post a message by Peter's wife Pat. Its mid-nite here in Cleveland and she just called from Scottsdale Arizona where Peter had his surgery to say he did very well!!!!
His surgery didn't start until 1:30 pm, Pat just now is seeing him for the first time. The doctor reported to her that he lost no blood , all his vitals were good throughout and now he has a outside bag. The DaVinci robotic system was used in part of his surgery. I am sure Peter will share more about that when he is able. The path report is to be in in 5 days, looks like if everything goes okay he will be home Monday.
Peter has been talking to Gene daily, they shared the emotional stress one feels when loosing a part of them. I am happy to say he has crossed over to recovery and will pray for a good path report. Good luck Peter, the angst is over! And thanks for letting me share your report! Ginger
