Hey Yose,

Thanks for sharing all that good stuff from Dr. Lamm. He is so helpful and kind and all.
I hadn't heard him mention pomegranite before.

I actually had my cysto today. It's a dental appointment that I have on the 11th, but I went ahead and cancelled that. I get confused with dates sometimes.

Anyway, it went very well and the Dr. said that he is now redesignating me as a "patient with a HISTORY of bladder cancer" instead of a "patient WITH bladder cancer." It's on the books, and it feels good.

Take care. Thanks a bunch for sharing that reply. It is most helpful.

Your buddy,
Rosemary

Hi Y’all,

Just a quick update .....Remember my question about Oncovite and efficacy and dosage? Well my wife Emailed Dr. Lamms' site and believe it or not they (Dr. Lamm?) actually responded...

Following are copies of the emails ...

Question: My husband (59) has been recently diagnosed with T1 Grade 3
> Bladder Cancer. (Resection in May 07) He is being treated at Mem Sloan
> Kettering and by our Florida Urologist (BCG treatments for 6 wks)

Oncovite Dose
Yes, the dose for bladder tumor patients is 4 a day. While the
preparation is all "good vitamins", you can have too much of a good thing.
It is important that anyone who might become pregnant not take Oncovite.
The vitamin A in it causes differentiation or maturation of cells. This
is good when treating cancer, but bad when making babies.
He might also add Selenium 200 ug a day. Other lifestyle and diet aspects
can also be helpful, and I like to try to stack the cards all in the
patients' favor. He obviously has a supportive wife- enjoy your time
together and support one another. Exercise, particularly aerobic exercise
up to the point that it is still somewhat "fun" is helpful. Fruits and
vegetables, and particularly fruit, is beneficial in reducing the risk of
bladder cancer. Pomegranate and garlic (not together! yuck) has shown
some specific anticancer effects.
Thanks for asking and good luck,
Don Lamm, MD

So I am now fairly glowing with Vitamins, Selenium, Garlic, Green Tea, and I’m about to become a pomegranate head! (All I really want are some of those Mickey Dee’s Frenchie Fries!) Oh well!

Also HAPPY B’DAY Patricia!!

Also---BEST of Luck Rosemary –7-11 IS a Lucky number and your success tomorrow is in my heart and prayers!
