Limich37,
Cytology has a history of false positives, more so on low grade tumors than high. While it is helpful, in itself it is not nearly enough info to diagnose what may or may not be going on. The cystoscopy as your next test will be helpful on seeing what that "mass" might be. IF your URO sees any suspicious areas they will schedule a TURB to take samples to biopsy, burn and cut those out. It is usually day surgery. I have learned beyond that answering questions is almost useless because all it is a guess and none of us are doctors. Best thing to do is take one day at a time...which is hard. The important thing is you are taking steps to find answers and if serious taking steps to beat it.
