Sorry to hear about your experience with the referral. Stage 2 is not something you want to fool around with. If you do not hear from the doctor by after lunch time tomorrow, I would call and ask about this. If they have not referred you, I would suggest that you "self-refer" to a urological practice that sees a lot of bladder cancer patients....preferably a university or NCI-designated cancer center. If you need suggestions, let us know where you are geographically and some of our members may have ideas for you.
Best of luck~

Hello new to this site. I had the scope done. Found a strange looking tumor according to the dr. 3 days later admitted to the hospital. Had tumor removed and biopsy done. Called into dr. Office 3 days later. You have stage 2 bladder cancer. Here is a pamphlet about it and options. Dr. Office will submit referral to specialists. Has been 10 days now and no appointment to see specialists. Is this the norma. I have had to do the leg work up to this point. Getting really frustrated at this point.
