BCG treatment, female

For me it was no big deal. Lucky you are a lady....males tend to "splash." My procedure was that as soon as I was finished I poured a cup of bleach into the toilet bowl and let it sit 30 minutes before flushing. Often I had such urgency that I couldn't wait 30 minutes to go again....just went in the bowl with the bleach and waited another 30 minutes to flush. When my six hours were over, and I felt better, I just poured bleach into the bowl and cleaned with a brush.

BCG IS a live bacteria preparation, so caution is advisable. However, it has been genetically modified so that it is NOT a virulent variety. General cleanliness and washing of hands is what is needed, not "hazmat suits."

I would recommend buying a large bottle of the cheapest generic chlorine (liquid) bleach at the grocery store. You will run through a lot of it!
