BCG Treatment #3

1 week 12 hours ago #57585 by tgrocky
Hi there Regor,

I am so happy for you as I know this waiting is really HARD. I wish you this best of luck and you will have to let me know.

I am not expecting good news as my urologist was dead set against me doing the BCG versus doing the RC, as the BCG treatment he is giving me less then 40% chance that it will work and he knows my condition better then I do of course, but I want to try something a lot less extreme. We shall see in 16 days...

It usually takes several months before your bladder has healed enough for the doctor to take a look Also your bladder is still healing from the BCG and that would explain the symptoms you are seeing . Yes do you discuss this with your doctor but I do think it is a bit early to be concerned .

Grazie saluti Antonio

Hi everyone, I'm really anxious and I have two questions that I hope will help me. It's been more than 40 days since I finished the cycle of 6 bcg inductions and unfortunately they haven't called me yet for the post bcg checks and mapping and I have no news of when they will call me. I took the liberty of asking the nurse who manages the waiting lists, remembering that they are at high risk and category A, but I heard that she did not have this situation at all. So I had to scan my booking form ten days ago and send it to you. The nurse then told me that she was going to tell the doctor about the lists and then she would let me know, but at the moment there is still nothing. This situation of not knowing a date for the checkup is driving me crazy. Do you expect them from you so much? I have another question: those tissues and scales that floated in the urine during the treatment of bcg every now and then I still see them coming out after 40 days, even if now they are very small and not as numerous as before and this worries me not a little because it makes me think that maybe those 6 treatments were not enough, unless they are normal scales that come out according to the ordinary cellular renewal. Has anyone had this experience? Thank you greetings Antonio
