Jones,
Tumors in the bladder are not normal. Since you have had a cystoscopy, there must have been medical concern about the bladder or the possibility of disease.
I have no idea what you may have been reading, but the internet is full of unhelpful, useless and dangerous medical mis-information.
Until you know the status of the tumors you described you will have NO knowledge of the danger, if any, from the tumors. The tumors must be removed and a sent for a pathology report, which will help the doctor decide if monitoring or treatment is necessary.
From the limited info you posted, it appears that your doctor is spot on in his/her advice to remove and evaluate the tumors. Caught early, bladder cancer, if that is what is ultimately determined to be the diagnosis, is highly treatable. My thought: Listen to your doctor.
Below is a link to a general info website on bladder cancer. Look at it, and I suspect that you will quickly decide that addressing potential BC early is the right move.
