BCG cancer sex

6 months 3 days ago #55408 by Tractor
This is my concern. We were told 6 weeks, then didn’t keep track and had unprotected sex after 4.5 weeks. Any comments?

My girlfriend has to have her own bathroom and I get that, it really works quite well. Actually I like having my own space, although if we have guests she has to share her bathroom so guests never stay too long :woohoo:

Ah, a bathroom all to yourself! THAT is heaven, lol.

Your tx's do not sound like anything to sneeze at or a walk in the park either!

You can do it!

It is interesting to see what chemo agents are made out of, you know behind it, got to be a Dr. Frankenstein.
A person with some serious flaws, lol, to think of that stuff.

I got a friend treating BC right now and I know little about it. I came here to help him out.
He is doing great! You will, too, you will see. Hang in there, you can do it!

Wow, well right now my treatments are not anywhere near what yall are going through. My treatments are called BCG and I was told it's a TB vaccine. The vaccine is inserted into the bladder with a catheter. I keep it in the bladder for two hours then pee it out. But after I pee I have to pour in the toilet 2 cups of bleach, stir and let it stay in the toilet for 20 minutes before flushing. So it must be some nasty stuff. I have to do this for 6 hours until it is all out of the bladder. Can't let any of the solution touch any of my hands or skin. Can't let anyone use the same bathroom until it is cleared out of the bladder. And no intimate contact (intercourse) with my girlfriend. I've done 2 treatments, 4 more in this series, wait 6 weeks then another TURBT to see if the BCG treatments were effective. Then go on from there.

Oh, yeah baby... that stuff, chemos, is toxic.
But, it is a good kind of toxic. It is killing the more toxic things, lol.

I sat with a man getting chemo, too. He was a dentist. And, when done talking about teeth we started talking about what we got and how we got it. He wondered if the mercury use in the fillings did his. I had no clue on what could had done mine.

But, we talked about the treatments. And, of course, we googled the chemo-agents. He was actually on arsenic.
He said, " i am paying for arsenic." lol, I said, " hey, i can beat that..."

I am on " mustard gas." SO he could kill rodents and i could wipe out the enemy.

I was on that time, Bendamustine. Some pretty potent stuff. lol. Mixed with Rituxan.

and Rituxan? is made from mouse antibodies! I got a real hard time setting a trap I feel like an ingrate and killing off maybe, some relatives. Ever since I found that out, and that mice were sparing my life, how can I kill them?

Now, my husband had a different attitude about that. He would say, " damn those are smart mice, they keep springing the traps!"

UH, okay... :)

I would go bake him a very nice cake. Made from guilt.

Now my husband had a very good point. Why was Rituxan so expensive when it is made from mice that no one wants? He offered to provide them for free...

But he wasn't a very good hunter. He caught nothing. I don't know why.

And, then, too. Antibiotics. Some are made from mold. Yet we don't want it in our homes but, buy it at a pharmacy. These are things you have to explain to a very smart child. Along with why his parents are glow-sticks.

So they must have had that stuff is in glow sticks. Sounds toxic, but that stuff we put in our bodies, BCG and chemo is toxic right. Go figure
