We just received this news a week ago. He had a cystoscopy 2 weeks ago. He has a catheter. During the procedure he had the roof of the bladder cauterized (he had lots of blood clots in his urine) and the lining scrapped. The urologist said that the bladder is small and the wall is very thick and very hard. The Urologist could only force 100cc of liquid in the bladder and it would not expand. After procedure he could only hold 25cc. Will he get his elasticity back? We have to have another cystocopy in 3 weeks. The lab test said it is a high grade invasive but not enough muscle tissue was included in the byopsy. This is scary stuff *breathe*.
