Thank you so much! Of course he will call first thing. The doc who did his cystoscopy didn't seem concerned which seemed stupid to me.

This is such an awful stage - waiting for surgery to be scheduled. And it is my understanding that until they take the tumor out, they can't grade it. Is that right?

Of course your brother-in-law should call his doctor tomorrow and have this checked out. It would be a very unusual symptom for bladder cancer; it is most likely an infection that can be treated with antibiotics. But, this is for his doctor to determine.

My bro in law was dx with bladder cancer after cystoscopy 3 days ago. Surgery not even scheduled yet. His testicle is swollen and painful too, though. Does this mean it has spread? We are scared to death.

CAT scan before cystoscopy showed 2 cm area that was concerning. Blood in urine made him go to emergency room.

Please help. Thanks for being here!!!
