Thank you, dieseldoc. We are just worried it has something to do with the cancer. I have read on the internet (not always a good thing to do) that it can be from the cancer getting into the lymph nodes or kidneys. It's always a worry. Hopefully we'll know a little more after the cysto next week. We're just figuring one of these days it is going to go through the muscle. Worried like everyone else on here.

Thanks again.

You might want to get a referral to a heart doctor. Swelling like that is also a indication of congestive heart failure. Or he might need a different water pill!

Good luck

Has anyone had problems with swollen feet (especially the left one) and legs? We noticed his feet were quite swollen about 3 weeks ago. I called our urologist and he said it wouldn't have anything to do with his bc. He went to see our family doctor and she put him on Lasix. She also conferred with the urologist. The swelling hasn't gone down. He is wearing the elastic socks hoping that would help. The lasix doesn't seem to be helping much. Some days they aren't quite as swollen as others. There is no pain involved, just the swelling. We have an appointment for another cysto on April 25th. Maybe we will get some answers.

You really can't know what might be going on unless the uro does a TURB and takes samples for biopsy. Yes, the red spots might be CIS or they may be sites of BCG-induced cystitis. No way to tell what might be causing the pain. He needs to notify his doc asap.

You contact the doctor. If it is nothing to worry about, great. BUT if it is something to worry about it can be taken care of NOW. You are not a doctor and we are not doctors,.

Thank you so much, Jack. We appreciate your input. We have been quite concerned. I figured someone on this forum must know what we are talking about! It's nice to know we aren't alone in this fight.

Thanks again.
