Oh My Carla!
I am so sorry to hear this. Even though we have never met in person, I am heartbroken to hear of Jim's passing. I have always been impressed with the "team" that you both were to each other. I cannot send enough prayers your way.
Please accept our heartfelt condolences.
We feel so much loss right now. You and Jim have been an inspiration to us all. You showed us how to live with this disease and you are showing us the true meaning of love and loss

Carla, I am so deeply sad to hear that you have had to say goodbye to Jim. If any good came out of this, it is that veterans such as he now have an advocate such as yourself fighting on their behalf.

Love

Oh Carla... I am so so sorry to hear this. You two have been such a formidable team in both your fight against a dreadful disease and your resolve to not let it defeat you. Jim was truly a champion in every way.

Thank you for all you and Jim have done to promote bc awareness. Your posts have encouraged many who felt there was no reason to hope for a better outcome. Please accept my deepest condolences. Jim's presence and memory will live on here as well.

Best wishes... Catherine

At 7:50 am, March 23rd my Jim drew his last breath in our bed next to me. He died of uro sepsis and apparent BC metastasis. I'm heartbroken but grateful that he is out f his earthly suffering. We were so fortunate to have 5 years 8 months that we didn't think we would have after his diagnosis. We put a lot of living into that time cruising, road trips, moving. We truly lived! I am grateful to the caring people here at the ABCS forum. Thank you all who helped me early on. I will miss Jim forever. He was my best friend, soul mate, love...my other half.
