Cynthia,
You bring up an interesting point. I do know that a great fluid to constantly drink is water and that I should (as we all should) cut back on coffee and other caffeine rich diuretics. After a TURBT and with BCG, what are food and drinks to stay away from?

Welcome to our community. Sara Anne is right those of us that have been around know that there are a lot of variables that small studies do not take into account. Water quality and work environment can be just a few not taken into consideration and could have a large impact on a studies results. Also note that these are not studies on people who already have BLC and if it would help keep reacurrance at bay.

Medical MJ shows promise in a lot of areas but a lot of research needs to be done to know the specifics.
It can be of help in certain situations but with this or any alternative therapy talk to your doctor to arrive at your conclusions. If you do decide to us MMJ talk to your provider about vaporizing it as it is believed to be easier on your lungs.

There are many things we can do to try to reduce our possibility of reacurrance, quiteing smoking, diet, exercise and a pure source of water are important for cancer survivors and could go a long way offering all of us a better quality of life.

Ok... Here is the original study www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0090429514012060

My point is - while for expediency I chose the first link (which I said was not reputable, it looks like there is indeed a relationship... Urology, Oncology, and others recognize the relationship.

Josh, this is not a medical site, but a commercial one for the sale of mj products. I wouldn't trust their opinion as far as I could throw it.

Medical marijauna has a place in controlling intractable pain, under medical supervision. To my knowledge, there is not any evidence of what they claim, and, of course, there are no controlled double-blind studies which would be required before any medical claim could be made.

I live in california and in my youth was was known to smoke pot (unfortunately lots of cigs too) :-) I saw this report and I am curious as to the reaction... Do we like this? What do we think about this ? Medical Pot is available to me - is it valuable? Worth a shot?

I know this source isn't AMA worthy, but I have seen it published on more reputable sites.
