That's good news that the cysto didn't find anything out of the ordinary. I hope the scan goes as well tomorrow and they can get some answers for him.

Best wishes... Catherine

Cythoscopy showed no visible lesions. A sample of urine was taken to lab.
Tomorrow in the morning he has the ultrasound appt (we had to rescheduled bc we thought it was more important to do the cythoscopy today)

The not knowing what the cause is is actually worse than finding out what it is , and starting a treatment plan. As George rightly said that kids need to know or they make up horror stories, well so do adults! The sooner you have a diagnosis the sooner your husband can feel back in control and deal with whatever the cause is.It is essential that he lets the doctors carry out whatever tests are required to enable them to acheive the best outcome and in the shortest time.I was first diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2006, and am still here on this planet annoying people!!-

Hello everybody here is afraid of cancer. It seems like we are living a nightmare, but the unique way to do something is doing the test. Cat scan and cithoscopy. I believed for two years that I had stones in my kidneys, when finally after two cat scans I saw an image compatible with cancer, the next day I had a turb with three tumors very big, fortunately superficial. What I am trying to tell you is if you have cancer your opportunities to get a better treatment is knowing what you have. Don't waste time please. I am 50 years old two kids 15 and 8 years old. I was diagnosed in January . My best wishes for you and your husband.

Diagnosed 01/13/2015. T1G3
1rst turb
2nd turb 02 /2015
6 BCG
Now 15 BCG. NED. Waiting

Thank you. He has an appointment for an ultrasound tomorrow. Urinary test came back negative for infection, doctor thinks it's either stones or cancer.
I hope tomorrow will have some answers though I doubt it. He didn't want to do the cat scan and ultrasound was the only study he agreed to do.
