OK had the tests all done and turns out it was only a bladder infection. I don't know why this wouldn't have shown up when they tested my urine and sent it off for culture but my Urologist saw no cancer!!

It's been the longest week of my life I think.

The main reason I am posting this if someone else is going through what I went through DON'T PANIC.

If you have burning when you urinate, small blood clots in the bowl after you go occasionally, a light dull pain in the groin it may only be infection.

BUT GET IT CHECKED OUT!!
The scope in the bladder wasn't to bad. I was put under and didn't feel a thing. It burns when I pee but it's not terrible.

Thank you all for your help and Thank God!

Bladder cancer can present as symptoms of a UTI. You are doing the right thing by seeing a urologist and getting these diagnostic exams done. Bladder cancer is not something you would want to fool with.

Oh the other hand, your symptoms could have a lot of other causes. Sometimes we never know what caused them, and it is NOT bladder cancer. So....just take a deep breath and wait for the results. I know, that is easy for me to say!!! But have been there/done that!

IF it should be bladder cancer, as you can read in many of our Forum postings, it is not the end of the world. It can be very treatable.

We will be thinking of you.

Good luck!!

Todd - yes and you definitely should do what the urologist said - get a CT scan and if necessary, a cystoscopic exam. Don't read too much in to this until those are done, they will tell the story. But get them done as soon as possible. Let us know the results. Hopefully will just be benign bleeding, that does happen. Good luck to you, we are pulling for you.
