Congrats! I am with Sara Anne and George on 3 month checkups as standard protocol-at least for a year (normally suggestion is 3 months for 2 years, 6 months for 2 more then annually). Obviously to catch anything missed or different but, it is also peace of mind and most insurances are on board with this.

DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

Congratulations on the successful surgery.
But I am with Sara Ann on this one.
At this stage I would ask for three month checkups and do that for a year or so.
This bc is a very tricky bastard and it moves VERY quickly and only one badass cell can find a home and start again.
Here"s to a Full and complete recovery and No Cancer in your future.

Congratulations! It is wonderful that it all went so well. However, personally, I would want to have checkups. Bladder cancer is known to be a sneaky creature and I would want to continue to be sure that I was all clear!
