Jay,

Yup, I read about your double whammy. I know both are beatable just sorry that you have both. Keep posting as there are plenty of survivors that will have some insight.

Alan: That's encouraging just reading the 7 year start! I can't wait to get over my 2 cancers and be able to post for many years!!! Thanks for getting back to me. Jay

MHY: No, not CRAZY! As soon as I pull in the driveway I don't know what happens in my mind, but I have to go!!! It's a total urge. I never was a big coffee drinker but stopped anyway figuring it wasn't a good thing. I don't know if you have read any of my earlier posts, but I'm trying to get over the bladder cancer so I can tackle my prostate cancer. I got hit with a double!! I'm feeling really good about catching the bladder cancer early and desperate to move on to the prostate, just can't do both at the same time. Thanks again for your response. Jay

Jay,

It has been almost 7 years so my memory may be a little fuzzy but, I want to say it was 3-4 weeks after the last installation to be back to "normal" whatever that is and was.

Jay,

I agree with Raider. Over time (how long is anyone's guess) the urgency diminishes. It has been over one month since my last round of BCG, and the only time I experience urgency, on occasion, is when I get home <crazy!>. As for frequency, I am now urinating only once during the night instead of two, three and even four times per night.

I would like to say one other thing. If you are drinking coffee. STOP! I was drinking coffee on occasion. But not any more. The coffee irritates my bladder something fierce. I would even see a spot of blood on the bathroom tissue (I am female) shortly after finishing my cup of java.
