Alan, one of our members, recommended this site

for a discussion of the various diversion options. This should give you some background for questions to the uroncologist.

Another thing, you want to be SURE that the surgeon who does your RC is a real specialist in this procedure. He should do many many a year, of the kind that you chose.

This is something that you will live with the rest of your life and you want to be sure that you receive the very best.

Looks like a good place for information and support. I am a 57 y/o male Parkinsons patient with a T2N0M0 diagnosis. Urologist recommended a RC. I have and appointment scheduled next Tuesday Sept 16 with a Urologist/oncologist. I have to decide which diversion will be best for me. Opinions and experiences welcome.
