Hi Rsoward

Your complaint I believe is not that un-common. My Uro chose not to do the chemo wash to avoid the exact issue you are complaining about. I had a TaG1 but he decided the best approach was to just do the TURBT and NO chemo wash....

Hang in there and I bet things will clear up for you.

I would have slight pain 1 to 2 days after a scope but not two weeks. It is probably irritation but, I would let my URO know. Could it possibly be a urinary tract infection?
DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

Had Turbt removal of one tumor Feb 2014 with chemo wash, TA Suoerficial. Two months later had allergic reaction to chemo developed inflammation lesion that required another Turbt benign in March. I get random sharp very brief pain like nerve feeling. Just had my 90 day two wks ago cystocopy "all clear"! But not sure why I have slight pain when urinating. Possible sore urethra from scope? Get ghost nerve pain from original Turbt area once in awhile. Anyone else have these symptoms??
