BCG , 5 down 1 to go!

4 years 11 months ago #45611 by mt bk
Congrats on the progress (and getting treatment in the first place). Good luck on the 6th treatment (if you haven't already had it). My 12th treatment was three years ago, and been clean ever since.

Thanks to all for your support! I'll keep you posted on how everything goes from here. All I can do is keep eating right, exercise and hope and pray everything goes well!
Again thanks to all!

Congratulations on your progress so far!! Will keep my fingers crossed for your scope. I am five years out, and I think the only "side effects" I have are an increased nervousness every time my exam is approaching.

Welcome to our "club" and found us but sorry you had to join! A lot of good people here and a lot of survivors. Here's to limiting your treatments to BCG! Keep us posted. Each poster adds something and all keep us humble, honest and thriving!

Im 49 yrs old,I got diagnosed with non invasive BC on Sept.10/ 2013. I have finished 5 of the BCG treatments with 1to go!! I've experienced only mild side effects. I feel better than I've felt in my urinary health in a long time. After my 6th treatment my urologist said ill get a scope done to see if it has recurred. Even though I'm feeling better I don't want to get my hopes up too high. This is a nervous and scary time, but I do think a positive attitude is the way to approach it..
