The doctor said the drug was not available any more. We will just have to wat until the path report to see what the next step is.

Oh yeah Jim...
Did you ask him if he did a mitomycin wash of the bladder after removing the tumor and burning the other one off? You may want to ask if you didn't already.

Glad it went well. Keeping fingers crossed on the pathology.

Your doc should be scheduling you for a second one in about 8 weeks or so. It's important that the pathology report shows clear margins around tumor. That is, good, clean, clear tissue around the entire thing. If not, the 2nd TURBT is pretty much mandatory.

Best of luck on the pathology! Let us know.

Hello Jim...Glad to hear the procedure went smoothly and your cath will come out Monday.

I had to use my little iPod app to convert, and 1.4 cm is about 1/2 an inch. I would think that is in the fairly early stage which is a good thing, with the second even smaller. In spite of the circumstances of waiting for the path report, I'm sure you feel better just knowing they are out of your body.

We will be waiting with you! Best wishes...

Catherine

Best wishes... Catherine
