This site has been a blessing to me and I don't keep up with it as I should. When I was first diagnosed everyone was so supportive and informative it made it easier to deal with. I still try to read the forum at least once a week and to keep up with everyone. and I still remain cancer free since 2008. Thank you all for being there at such a difficult time. Bobbi

Thanks so much, everyone. Sara Ann I will try to come back more often. I enjoyed meeting you via phone the day I was traveling to Tallahassee. I am pleased to tell you that not only did we get the State of Florida to declare July as BC Awareness Month but we also got about 7 counties and several cities to do proclamations. Each time we have accepted we've shared with the presenters *and most of Florida's govt meetings are televised so it hit a larger audience* about BC and how it strikes peoples lives. We will be having a Celebration party the end of this month for all our friends who have "been there" for Jim and me on our journey.

We both know the "beast" may come back but the oncologist is VERY pleased with jim's progress.

Mike I will give Jim your greetings. And, yes, I have shared with you how your suggestions and simmering me down some helped me more than words can ever say. The people here are so caring and supportive. This is what people who get this diagnosis need most. Wish I could join you all in Boston (a town i love a lot we went on our honeymoon in Boston) But look forward to your reports.

Take care all, Carla who will be back more often
