Congratulations Rich,

Non-Invasive is really a good thing to hear.

I hope the frequency gets better with time. Mine took a while but now its only once or twice a night.

Congrats on no muscle invasion. That's BIG!!! Was there anything at all in this sample or was it all clear?

Don't be surprised if they find trace blood in your urine at your appointment on the 2nd and have to postpone. People vary in healing times and those that have symptoms longer after a turbt tend to be the ones who heal a bit more slowly. No worries though. They will just start it a little later.

You might want to ask the doc about antispasmodics or pyridium (bladder analgesic) to see if that helps with frequency. If you typically take any kind of aspirin or blood thinners, talk to the doc about that as well as they may want you to stay off of them for a bit.

Hi everyone
I got my results back on my restageing surgery, and he found no muscle invasion. He did find one spot that looked suspicious, so he took it out. I start my BCG treatment on Aug.2nd. I am still urinating a lot, about every hour and a half when trying to sleep at night, anybody else have the same problem and what to do about it.

Thanks Rich

HI
just want to let everyone know i had my restageing surgery done on the 26th and it only took about 10 min. The doc took out 3 samples and one spot he did not like the looks of, on fri the 6th i will find out what comes next. This one went well it was early in the morning so my anxiety was much better. The nurse i had was great. I feel tired all the time and still pee all night long but not much pain. i will let everyone know what he has to say on fri. Hope all is well with everyone.

Rich,

As folks have already said, it is standard protocol to do a follow up TURBT. This is especially critical if something like T1 or T2 is found on the first one.

Good luck and let us know how it goes. A lot of us have been through what you are going through now and are about to be going through. Ask whatever you want whenever you want.
