Hello... any time we see blood where it's not supposed to be is very frightening until the reason for it is found. I do hope your CT scan does not find anything out of the ordinary. And while the scope into the bladder is fairly uncomfortable for guys, it is bearable and can be a life-saving 5-minute (or less) procedure if there is something amiss inside your bladder. Many of us here get them every few months. They may also be able do it under light anesthesia if your insurance would permit, or your doctor recommended. So don't rule that out if the blood persists because your urologist really needs to see your bladder from the inside.

Are you a runner? You said you exercise alot. Sometimes runners may see blood in the urine just from the impact from hitting the pavement repeatedly over a long period of time which is hard on the bladder.

I do hope you get answers soon. At age 25, you should not have to be worrying about bladder cancer (although it's not impossible) and I hope it is just a pesky UTI.

Best wishes... Catherine

Well let me introduce myself, I am a 25 year old Asian man from America.

I had blood in my urine 2 years ago with no pain. One pee with bright red blood, the second one after that was darker colored and then after that there was no blood for the next year. went to doc, they said it was most likely a UTI - drink cranberry juice, they took a urine sample and no blood detected

About a year later, I had a reoccurance, blood in urine and a little bit of blood clot came out in the second pee. Then it stopped bleeding. I captured the blood clot thinking it was a kidney stone and sent it to the hospitals lab, they diagnosed it as a blood clot/organic material and not a kidney stone. Went to the doc, they said UTI once again

Third time occured about 5 weeks ago, this time I demanded to be seen by a urologist. Just saw him today, took a urine same for lab testing and also scheduled for a CT scan.

He wanted to stick a camera into my penis to take a look at my bladder but I rejected this and he said ok we'll depend on the urine test and CT scan to come back and if they look ok, then we won't need to stick a camera in your penis  .

Anyways, from those who are diagnosed with bladder cancer do you have any other symptoms besides blood in urine? I have no pain, feel healthy etc. Just blood in urine from time to time.

I do drink a lot of energy drinks/coffee and also excercise alot which my doctor said may cause blood in urine ?
