o9z,
your uro is going to go in and do what is called a TURB...a resection of whatever is causing the bleeding in your bladder.
(officially called Transurethral resection of the bladder) I don't know how much blood you have had in there or have you been passing clots? The CT scan would have trouble identifing a tumor when clots are present. So your uro is going to find out what is causing the blood. I hope he is going to do a bladder wash first so he can see what he is doing. Samples will then be sent to a pathology lab for diagnosis.
Where are you located?
Each uro has his own protocol as to whether to leave a catheter in or not. If you are still bleeding he will leave it in for a few days.
Please feel free to ask any questions at all.
