Robert, you can request that your files be sent to the second opinion doctor (after you have an appointment set up) but you will no doubt have to request this in WRITING, not over the phone. A word of caution....you would do better to pick up you files yourself and hand carry them. It is amazing how these important things can get "lost."

I had about 4 opinions but I was fortunate --- they all agreed --- you will be okay --- I have conduit and I am 36 days out from surgery --- I had some complications --- but there is no doubt R/C probably gave this 71 year old priest some more days to be grateful for all the talented folks who help us get through the journey --- will let my Boss know to be ready to hold your hand and carry you through.

Age 72 had radical 9/11/10 have conduit everything is fine, grateful to be a cancer survivor. Lost Dad and Brother to Cancer both in their 50's.

We are All(Mike and I too) glad to have you here. While it may seem as though we have good days,EVERY DAY! We know there are some bad days too. That is why we are here. The bad days are when you need our twisted humor and, sometimes, a person to Vent(BIG TIME) to.

Please keep reading as many posts as you like. Finding just one thing to hang on to can be the difference between a BAD day and making it just a Blah day.

I have a simple plan that works for me when I am in a funk: I love to watch people and make up stories about them in my mind. I imagine the craziest story based on their appearance, manners, hair, facial expression etc. Since these stories are NOT for public consumption, your immagination takes over and, the next thing you know, you are thinking that your life is pretty good indeed.

Just a thought
